Continued growth

Caroline went to her pediatric appt today. She has gained 5 oz - we are thrilled!!!!
We will go to Sanger cardiology to check on a small VSD in her heart - but are expecting it to close on its own. Our appt will be 1-2 months away. We will also be referred to the Carl Watkins Early Intervention Center for physical and occupational therapy after she gets bigger!!!! It is run by the government so our tax dollars are at work for us! We will get care for Caroline at no extra charge and the best news of all the therapist come to your house from 0-3 yrs. So Little Carley will not always have to be with a sitter or at extra MMO. So This is another praise!!!!
I also was released from the OB with my incision today. I will return Aug 23 for my regular post partum check. So I am feeling stronger each day and I got to drive the girls to the pediatric office today.

Did you ever think you'd be so excited to get to drive your girls around? I'm so happy for your progress, joining you in praising God for all the little bits of good news your receiving about sweet Caroline, and just miss you guys terribly. We're coming into town now this weekend but next (10th) and MUST see you guys if ya'll will be home. Let us know!

Oops...typo in my last comment. Actually several. I misspelled your---should have been "you're", and to clarify, we're NOT coming into town this weekend but we ARE coming on Saturday the 11th. Hope this all makes sense :) and that we get to see ya'll and catch up if it works out for your schedule!

Yippee! Five ounces! Prayers are being heard and answered! I am glad you are gaining some of your freedom back too. Now you can drive yourself to Starbucks!

Love you,
Kelly

We received early intervention services with Maddie from age 0-3 yrs (and then at age 3 yrs they become part of the school system...you drive them to a local elementary school where services are offered). You will love having them come to your house! It cuts down on all the crazy appointments. We are glad that things are rolling for you. Your therapists will grow to be your close friends over time. Keep your head up. You are doing a great job!
