Well Kim is doing well. She has been sleeping alot as they have her on some pain medications. Caroline is at the hospital with us and doing great. I fed her last night every few hours and she is sleeping like a champ. We have really enjoyed getting to hold her and visit with her.
To be honest I think it is good for Kim as she has something to keep her mind off all that has gone on. I am taking care of Caroline so she don't have to worry about that, she can just visit with her.
I have been reading all of the comments posted by you on the blog and that has really seemed to help Kim. Please continue to post comments on the blog as I will read them out loud to Kim.
Thanks again for everyones support and I will update everyone as things progress.

Congratulations on baby Caroline! She is absoluetly beautiful. We are praying and thinking about you constantly. Kim, I hope you have a short and easy recovery. I've told Jennifer we really need to come to NC so we can visit. I'm getting ready to be a stay at home mom for a bit (my last day here at work is this Friday). Maybe in a few months Richard, Emma & I can come for a visit. We'd love to see you all again!

Your Caroline is so BEAUTIFUL! And the bow in her hair is adorable. We love the pictures and see all the smiles. Every child comes with challenges and joys and your Caroline will thrive with the both of you and her sister. I swear I can see her growing already in the pictures of this first week! We feel lucky to have met you this past year and are sending many positive thoughts and prayers down South.

Hi Cameron. Thanks for sharing your story here on this blog. What a great way to stay in touch. It's good to hear things are finally going in a positive direction. I can somewhat relate as our daughters Emelia and Katie were both in the NICU 8 and 14 days respectively. So we were in and out of the hospital a lot those days. Your precious little Caroline is absolutely beautiful!!! We are so thankful that Caroline and Kim are now doing better. We are enjoying keeping up with how the Abbots are doing through this blog. Thank you for sharing. When Caroline is a little older, we would love to see each of you and your precious little girls! We would also love for you to meet Holden. We will keep you all in our prayers!

Caroline looks so adorable in her new pictures!! She seems to have grown already! Tell her that her Aunt Mimi loves her and can't wait until I can come and visit. Okay Kim....are you trying to catch me on the number of surgeries????? It's not a race! I think I still have you beat! Anyway, I'm sorry you had to have another surgery to fix your incision, but I am glad you are doing well. Keep resting and let Cameron do all the work. Ha! We love you and are praying for you!

Congratulations on the birth of Caroline! She is an absolutely beautiful baby and we are so glad that she is doing so well. Never a dull moment in the Abbott family, huh? I hate that things haven't gone more smoothly, but I'm glad that you are recovering, Kim. Do you think you have enough girls to take care of, Cameron? Keep up the good work.
I'm happy to hear that Caroline's early screening came back clear. We will continue to pray along with you and know that God's hand is on the situation.
It seems like Caroline's eyes are open in most of the pictures. Is that just fancy photographic work, or is she really that alert? She's a doll.
I'm sure Carley's in hog heaven while you all are at the hospital. Getting spoiled by some grandparents, perhaps? But I know she'll love having her expanded family home with her.
