I took Carley fishing for the first time tonight. She had a blast. In our neighborhood we have a pond with a nice dock. The pond is full of Catfish, Bream, and Bass. We caught bream every single cast. Carley was a pro with her Tigger fishing pole.
Here are the pictures of our first fishing trip together!

How awesome!! We used to live on a lake in Michigan, and all my kids took to fishing straightaway! They could put on worms, catch, skin, clean, and gut with the best of 'em in very short order! I think the largest fish any of us caught was a 10" bass...not a big fish by any stretch of the imagination, but MUCH larger than those little sunfish they kept reeling in. The largest fish I ever personally caught was a 3" uhh..something..that my mentor fed to his cat. I was heartbroken. I wanted to put it back...but the cat was way too quick, and it was too late to save the poor thing, so I had to let the cat eat it, and let the tears roll. My mentor rolled his eyes, and never took me fishing again, which was probably a good thing.
Today was my husband's and my 29th anniversary. It was a blessed day! So, Carley got to go fishing and have fun with her daddy on our 29th...so that tops it off! Her pictures make me smile. I'm so glad you put them on there! I love her smile!
Hugs all around! Julie
I love these pics! I can't wait for Chad to see what a fisherman (or girl) Carley is! This looks like it was so much fun!
SO cute! She looks like she had so much fun!

Well, I got quite a chuckle out of the swimming lesson story! Some friends at Sunday school were sharing with us their 3-year-old's swimming lesson antics. Gracie is one of those serene, angelic children; but put her in swimming lessons? Her mother was also mortified. She resorted to blackmailing with M&Ms. My girls are signed up for lessons in July, and I'm thinking Maddie may be "that kid" too. Katie Rose was "that kid" last summer at soccer lessons.
Great pics of Carley fishing! I should've known Cameron would start her early. Isn't it wonderful how involved our hubbies are in their kids lives? It's terrific to have such a nice facility so close. Sounds like Caroline is thriving under your watchful care, too. I know it must be exhausting at times, though. I pray you are rested beyond the hours of your sleep.

Carley - I love these pictures - it so reminds me of how your daddy loved to go fishing when he was little - I'm so glad you and your Dad are enjoying fishing together. We miss you all! Nana
