Trip to Jacksonville
Cam has already started work. Today was his second day. I think he is enjoying it, but adapting to a new position I am sure is challenging. Caroline has had difficulty the past week with nighttime tube feedings. She is throwing up milk and we are not sure why. She has cut her intake in half of her daily ounces. We went ahead to the Dr. today and found out she has an ear infection. We are now taking our first antibiotic ever. Another health issue that some babies have with mosaic triploidy is chronic ear infections, so we hope this is no indication of things to come. Last week she was in her car seat a lot as we traveled down to Florida to check out houses, floor plans, and the exact area we would like to be in in Florida. There are many choices, finding the right place will be tough. the houses are more expensive and have no yards. I know we will really miss the quaintness and quietness of Charlotte. We will have plenty of hospitals to choose from and Numors is supposedly the best. We have not had any lookers this week and no offers as of yet. I hope the house sells quickly, but we do have a lot of things to take care of here with Caroline. Please pray for our insurance transition to be smooth. Pray for Caroline to gain weight and in crease her appetite. Pray for her ear infection to go away and not return. Caro line's ears are set lower than the typical baby. This is a reason for chronic ear infections in mosaic triploidy babies. Thank you for your constant thoughts, prayers and encouragement. We are trying to find the right house for us while trying to decide between two counties. It is like Union versus Mecklenburg. And of course, everyone has their opinion too!

I'm sure things will fall into place and ya'll will settle into Florida life nicely - the St. Augustine area is just beautiful. Ya'll are in my thoughts often and I hope and pray for an easy transition for everyone, especially Caroline. Happy New Year - may it bring you good things.

I thought I'd check in tonight in the hope that there was an update. And here it is! Never a dull moment, huh? Nothing like a surgery, a new job, and a new city to top off the single busiest holiday of the year.
Clearly you've been busy, but I was starting to wonder about you since I hadn't seen an update. I have a friend in a very-different-but-somehow-similar situation. When she stops updating her caringbridge site, you know she's down. Anyway, you are on my heart, dear friend. Love you,
Jenn
